Status & clarification

Dear backers,
Firstly I would like you all to know that I keep reading your comments/messages/emails and lately, I am disappointed to see some of the reactions over here, most of them not founded!
Kickstarter was born in order to help the startups and a startup doesn’t have an easy to follow path, as the name says it, it’s a kick to start your projects, your ideas, but again it’s not a walk in the park!
As we kept saying, refunds are not available in any way, not partial, full or any other kind of refund. All the money raised here went to development and production so it should be pretty clear that right now we are not available of refunding anybody!
We didn’t make this Kickstarter campaign for profits, instead, we made it so we would be able to continue our project, our ideas, and our dream.
Refunds will be available for the Kickstarter backers only after the official launch of our Online Store and we will have financial stability. This will be the only logical way to allow us to issue refunds.
I feel very sorry that some of you jumped to conclusions without knowing all the details and steps we had to go through to finalize this project. There was no possible way to anticipate the issues we had with the previous factory and this is one of the many things that may happen when you start a project - not everything goes always as planned!
We cannot and will not force or forced anyone to back, purchase, desire or use our product, not now and not ever! This being said, all those who do not wish to receive the product at all and request a refund (as explained above this will be available when we’ll achieve financial stability) can write us an email at [email protected] with the subject “Backer Refund" and the backing details.
We would very much like to have with us the people, the backers who support us and desire this product to able to enjoy it.
At the same time, I want to kindly thank everyone who supports us and reassure you all that you will not be disappointed in the product!

Development Update

Dear backers,
As promised this is the first follow up update after the production process has begun.
We are now in the Development phase and we would like you to know what’s been going on these two weeks.
- Due to the new hardware implementation, the watch will be larger by 1 mm, while the functional display will be larger by 2.54 mm. We think this is a major improvement.
- We have some difficulties with the IP68 certification but we are still working on it and hope we can upgrade the water resistance. More to follow on this issue.
- The "Sense Touch Bezel" is very hard to implement right now since it’s not that responsive, yet. We believe that if we cannot make it flawless, is pointless to have it!
- A final prototype should be out in a week or so.
Thank you very much for your patience, we know you are very excited to have your Dagadam watch but we do everything we can to hurry the process. However, we must not forget that rushing it can have a serious (bad) impact on the quality and functionality of the product. Although we want to send you the products as quickly as possible, we can not risk these factors that we hold very much.

Discussion from China - part 2

Dear backers,
In the previous talk I had with Dragos & Bogdan they've let me know that they'll have their next round of discussions next Monday, 10th of July.
This time the talks will happen between them and two more factories, but these are more experienced ones in this field of products.
Thank you all again for your patience and hope for the best Monday! I'll let you know the results/decisions of these discussions the next day or Wednesday asap.

Dear backers,
I've been keeping in touch with Dragos & Bogdan the entire week, they've let me know that they've had some discussions but until they do not have a clear answer and a clear decision we won't post updates just for the sake of posting something that is not news worthy.
The next talk they'll have is tomorrow but again they need a clear decision in order for us to post the news here.
